A master's thesis or a doctoral dissertation (Doctor of Philosophy) for the School of Graduate Studies of the University of Toronto following the ut-thesis class, which the School links as its LaTeX template (version 3.1.8, by Francois Pitt and Jesse Knight, licensed under the LPPL 1.3c), in English, on US Letter paper, with the title page, the abstract with the details of the thesis, a dedication, the acknowledgements, the table of contents and the lists of tables and figures, chapters with running heads, the appendices, the bibliography and numbered citations; text at 10, 11 or 12 pt, one-and-a-half or double spacing, the margins and two-sided printing as the class's options allow.
