Follows the University of Basel's thesis rules (own template built from the official rules; not an official template of the University). A doctoral thesis of the Faculty of Science (Philosophisch-Naturwissenschaftliche Fakultät) or of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (Philosophisch-Historische Fakultät), in English or German, with the title page and its back in German after the faculties' models (Inauguraldissertation or Dissertation by faculty, the place of origin, the year, the faculty's approval on the proposal of the doctoral committee or the referees, the date and the dean), the version for print or for the edoc server with the note on where it is stored (Faculty of Science), the abstract, the contents, the lists of figures and tables, numbered chapters, one-and-a-half spacing, two-sided printing, the appendices, the bibliography and the curriculum vitae at the end. Without a logo, which the faculties' models do not carry.
