A master's or PhD thesis of the University of Oslo (UiO) after the University's classes uiomasterthesis and uiophdthesis and the front page package uiomasterfp (Dag Langmyhr, Department of Informatics; linked from the UiO design manual, files without a stated licence, the template is our own code after their layout), in English or Norwegian (Bokmål). A master's thesis with the UiO front page (a coloured band in five colours, the kind of thesis, the title, the author, the programme, the study points, the department, the faculty, the term), the inner title page with the supervisors and the colophon; a PhD thesis with the class's title page (Grafisk senter makes the cover). The Abstract and the Sammendrag (the one in the thesis language first), the contents, the lists of figures and tables, a preface, chapters on a right-hand page headed Chapter 1 in Helvetica, running heads, Roman page numbers in the front matter, the appendices and the references, printed on both sides, optionally with a binding margin. Without the University's logo and seal.
