After the official LaTeX template for PhD theses of the University of Bergen from the Avhandlingsportalen portal (Raymond Nepstad and Tore Birkeland 2010, updated by the University in 2021, CC BY 3.0). A PhD thesis in English or Norwegian (Bokmål), with the title page, the scientific environment (Fagmiljø), the acknowledgements, the preface, the abstracts in English and in Norwegian, the list of publications, the contents, every chapter on a right-hand page, a bold running head over a rule, one and a half line spacing without paragraph indents, author-year references and a chapter with the papers. The text in 12 pt as the LaTeX template, or in 13 pt as the portal and the Word template ask. Without the University's emblem, which the University's rules permit students to use on bachelor's and master's theses only.
