Following the Word template for bachelor's theses of the Institute of Lifelong Learning of Mendel University in Brno (2026, derived from the template of the Faculty of Business and Economics), the institute's methodology manual for the bachelor's thesis (version 04 2026) and its APA citation rules. The template states no licence, so its dimensions and styles are taken over; the code and the texts are our own. Where the manual says otherwise (the title page, pages counted from the title page, italic captions, the list of appendices), the manual applies, and the declaration has the wording the rector's directive 1/2025 prescribes. A bachelor's thesis in Czech, Slovak or English: the cover, the title page with the university and the institute, the declaration, the acknowledgements, the abstracts in the language of the thesis and in English (optionally in Czech for a thesis in English), the table of contents, lists of figures and tables, chapters numbered 1, 1.1 and 1.1.1 (each on a new page), the page number in the running head on the right from the contents on, captions Fig. below figures and Tab. above tables, the list of references, the list of appendices and appendices without page numbers. A4 for one-sided printing (3.5 cm on the left with the binding, 2.5 cm on the right and at the top, 4 cm at the bottom), Caladea (metrically identical to the template's Cambria) 12 pt, headings in Carlito (Calibri).
