A dissertation for the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) following the official LaTeX dissertation templates of the University Library (LaTeX-Vorlage 2019, Robert Dahlke, Sigmund Stintzing and Caroline Ziegler) and the faculties' title page samples, in German or English. A switch for the faculty whose title pages are used, Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics, Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy or Biology, with the cover, the title page and its back (the referees, the date of the oral examination, for Chemistry and Biology the declarations), the contents and the lists of figures and tables, the summary in German and the abstract in English, chapters headed Kapitel 1 on right-hand pages, the running head in bold over a rule, appendices Anhang A, the bibliography and the acknowledgements at the end. Set as the book class at 12 pt with a4wide, in Latin Modern, the title pages in Latin Modern Sans. Without the University's seal, which the University permits only under a contract.
