A5, two-sided, Nimbus Roman (TeX Gyre Termes) at 10 pt on a line pitch of 1.15 with space between paragraphs, headings in Helvetica (TeX Gyre Heros) bold with the number in a box of 1.3 cm, the running head over a rule. The title page with the degree, the department, genehmigte, angenommene or eingereichte for the version, the date of the oral examination and the referees, the summaries in German and English, the preface, the contents, chapters on right-hand pages, the appendices, the lists of figures and tables and the bibliography at the end. Without the KIT logo.
