After the LaTeX master's dissertation template of Instituto Superior Técnico (version 13 of January 2026, André C. Marta, Department of Mechanical Engineering of IST; a department template following the official rules of the Academic Board of IST). A dissertação de mestrado in English or Portuguese: the cover with the IST logo, the title, the author, the master's programme, the supervisors and the examination committee, the dedication, the declaration of original work, the acknowledgements, the abstract in Portuguese (Resumo) and English with keywords, the contents and the lists of tables and figures with Roman numbering, chapters "Chapter 1" always on a right-hand page, sections numbered 1.1 and 1.1.1, figures and tables numbered by chapter, tables with the caption above, the bibliography and appendices. A4, two-sided, margins of 2.5 cm, Helvetica 10 pt, line spacing 1.5.
