Follows the University of Cambridge's thesis rules (community template Cambridge University Engineering Department PhD thesis template, Krishna Kumar, MIT License; not an official template of the University). A PhD or another research degree thesis (MPhil, MSc, MLitt), in English, with a title page showing only what the University prescribes, in its order (the title, your name, your college, the month and year and the sentence This thesis is submitted for the degree of), with the University's logo, which students may use on a thesis title page, the preface with the declaration in the prescribed wording right after the title page, the abstract, a dedication and the acknowledgements, the table of contents and the lists of figures and tables, one-and-a-half line spacing, chapters headed Chapter 1, running heads with the chapter and the section, for print or PDF, one-sided or two-sided, the references and the appendices.
